East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania
Founded in 1893, East Stroudsburg University is one of 14 universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The university enrolls 4,732 undergraduate students and 1,079 graduate students in the Schools of Arts and Sciences, Professional Studies, Health Sciences and Human Performance. ESU offers more than 60 undergraduate degree programs and five graduate certificate programs. The university also provides a variety of continuing education opportunities for the community in addition to athletic and cultural events.
Northampton Community College – Monroe Campus
The college, with a main campus in Bethlehem, has expanded to bring educational opportunities to a larger population of students by opening off-campus centers. Credit and non-credit classes are offered at the Monroe Campus in Tannersville, a site at Fountain Court in Bartonsville and others. Enrollment at the Monroe Campus: 1536.
